Room to play. Time to be together.
A place to go can make a difference in a family’s day. At HFRC, there’s room to build, pretend, get lost in a story, or work through a puzzle together. Follow your child’s curiosity, meet another family, or take a quiet moment when you need one. Stop in for a short visit or settle in for the afternoon. It’s always free.
You’ll find us at the Arnot Mall Playroom and the Church Playroom & Gym at First United Methodist Church. We open one location at a time, each with space to explore and nearby parking. Check where we’re open today, then come make yourselves at home.

The Horseheads Family Resource Center is an independent nonprofit built around local families and the people who support them. Families, local businesses, and community partners help make it possible for children to play, learn, and grow in welcoming spaces. Local donations and philanthropic support help keep programs free and help maintain the spaces families rely on. The numbers tell part of the story, and the rest happens here.
